Description & Responsibilities

As a Contract Management Specialist, you will join a team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our proposal and contract management process. You will be responsible for quality assurance reviews of customer proposals and/or Statements of Work. Ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with our internal control policies and quality standards (legal,tax, export control, credit management...).

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the legal team in negotiating contracts with internal and external clients from various industries. You will apply your general business and financial knowledge as well as your contract management skills while assisting with all contractual requests and have the chance to learn and work within a multinational environment. You will become an expert on Dassault Systemes' standards. You will work in a cooperative, dynamic, and team oriented environment with well-structured processes. In addition, the Contract Management Specialist is involved in developing, modifying, and executing process improvement initiatives and company policies related to immediate operations. You will be an important link in the service business unit learning all internal policies, culture and the role of Dassault Systemes in society.

- Review and verify all proposals and/or Statements of Work to ensure a high level of quality and compliance with our internal control policies and procedures to avoid unintended liabilities.

- Review project proposal records in the Company's business workflow database (PeopleSoft) to ensure they are accurate and complete;

- Provide guidance to new users on proposal record creation and the entire business workflow process.

- Interface with all functional groups to define needs and client requirements.

- Interpret and clarify general contract terms.

- Participate in meetings with legal, internal and external clients to negotiate contracts.

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or business related discipline

- 5 years related experience (Contract Management/Administration) (in a software and/or services industry an asset)

- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Good understanding of general contract terms and conditions

- Knowledge of PeopleSoft (an asset)

- Well organized and meticulous

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze potential risks

- Proactive and demonstrates strong initiative

- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a fast pace environment, to multitask and respect deadlines

- Able to work in a team environment
