SolidWorks; Electrical Knowledge (Engineer or Designer)

Electrical or Mechanical Designer/ Engineer - SolidWorks

We are currently looking for either an Electrical Engineer who has experience with SolidWorks, or Mechanical Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks and strong electrical knowledge. 
 

• This individual should have an understanding of electrical schematics - a strong preference will be given to those who have hydraulic/ pneumatic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• AutoCAD/ AutoCAD Electrical knowledge is also helpful. 

Note: A Mechanical Engineer will not necessarily need to create electrical schematics, but should know how to read and interpret them, and would have an electrical engineer guiding them in working from these prints.

Other knoweldge, skills, and experience that would be helpful include:

• An understanding of power transmissions and/or drive systems.
• This individual will be spending the majority of their time doing re-draws and modifications in SolidWorks, and working from Electrical schematics
• This individual may perform design and engineering calculations on both electrical and mechanical components and systems, including wire/ cable routings, piping, and sheet metal enclosures, - primarily in SolidWorks
• Electrical design will include the design of electrical systems, components, panels, and various electrical controls
• This individual should have 3-5 years experience in machine design, verifying designs, layout designs, and other engineering calculations
